FAQ - all in one place for you!
This isn’t a typical blog post for me, but I have been getting a ton of questions over the last little bit, and I figured I would answer them all in one easy to find place!
So here we go!
What colour hair dye do you use?
Without a doubt my most asked question! I use Vidal Sassoon Merlot Vibrant Red! Keep in mind I am naturally blonde so maintaining red at home for me is easier then someone with darker hair. I also use colourists in burgundy mixed with my conditioner every time I wash it to maintain the colour and stop the dreaded red fade! (My bathtub always looks like a scene from a horror movie!) Also!! Red is HARD to get out if you are someone who likes to switch up colours often - just a heads up!
Where do you get your extensions?

One set of these is NOT enough! I usually wear 2-3, I like to have a lot of hair! They come an exact match to my hair colour - I’m not sure how, but it makes my life super easy!
Where do you shop?
This is a hard one! I honestly shop everywhere! I think that’s key, I think sooo many places offer really cool pieces and I do think a good wardrobe is build on some really special pieces mixed with some classic basics!
I do have my favourite go to places, they are The Skinny (www.shoptheskinny.ca) Old Navy, American Eagle, Boohoo (www.boohoo.com), and Pretty Little Thing (www.prettylittlething.com). With that said, I do mix in a lot of local stores and hit up Marshalls and Winners way too much!
I DIY almost all my clothes - sometimes it’s just cropping something, fixing a neck line, removing sleeves, distressing or bleaching something. Extended sized clothes can be hard, they aren’t always special, so if I like a pattern or the shape of something I will often buy it and make it my own! I love the process and it makes my clothes more me, and more special!
What do you use on your eyebrows?
I use Anastasia Dipbrow Gel - the one with the spooly! And then fill in anywhere I need with Urban Decays brow blade! I use the colours Auburn (ABH) and Ginger Snap (UD). I also lay down my brows with a glue stick and a spooly - I know that’s crazy, but it works for me!

Edmonton Alberta! Im a prairie girl through and through, I love our big sky’s and sunny days!
What size are you?
14/16 or XL - I’m also 5’9!
Where do you buy your jeans?
American Eagle (non stretch mom jeans - SIZE UP!!) Old Navy (rockstar denim) and Boohoo are my favourites! The jeans people always ask me about are my SUPER ripped light denim ones - they are from American Eagle, they are the mom jeans, but I squatted in them ones and the thigh ripped! That’s all!
Where do you get your bodysuits?
Garage Clothing is my go to! They are super stretchy! I know it’s a junior sized store, but I swear by them! Give them a try!!
Do you have a YouTube channel?
Not yet! It’s something I’m working towards, but just want to make sure I don’t take on too much to quick! (Let me know in the comments what you would want to see on there!)
Do I offer online shopping or styling?
Also, not yet! It’s something I would love to do, I’ve done a few zoom calls which were super fun, but this is something else I am working towards!
Where do you get your confidence?
I’ve written a ton of blogs about this! Go check them out! But my top 3 tips would be unfollow anyone on social media who doesn’t fill your cup, throw out your scale! Weight is only a number, it does not determine your worth! And kind self talk! Be nice to yourself - it makes a massive difference!
What do you do for work?
I manage a couple of opticals! I work for a company called Bailey Nelson - we are in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK and available online! It’s also where I get all my glasses!
Where did you get your Gucci Belt?
I thrifted it! But it’s the men’s thicker belt in the 120CM. The woman’s ones fit small, the men’s ones are the trick!
